District Primary Education office is under control of Ministry of Primary and Mass Education & the Directorate of Primary Education. Feni  district was transferred from Feni subdivision to Feni district in 1986. Then The Feni district primary education office started its activities after separating from Noakhali district. It is situated adjacent to Feni trunk Road in the Jail Road beside Feni PTI.  District Primary Education officer works as the head of the office. The district Primary Education office maintains all activities  of Government Primary schools serves all the activities of primary education by the help of upazila education offices.
